IT Courses - Suggested Modules Primary School For the lower Primary students, they will gets to understand the basic principle of operating a computer.They will be able to log on to the School's network, learn about different computer parts, kowning how to manipulates files and folders in computers. Students will be introduce with Mcrosoft Office to equipt them with basic Office skills knowledge and able them to tap on word processing tool on creative writing as well as design on simple posters fpr classroom noticeboard this develop their interest in digital art and graphic design field. Student will be able to look for online information through the World Wide Web and able to enchance project work presentation with slide show presentation techniques.
Softwares: Touch Typing, Creative Writer, Art Dubbler, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point, Internet Explorer For the upper Primary students, they will be introduce with robotics. The course let them understand basic concepts and the working mechanism of robots. They will get to learn higher level of software skills which allow them to build online website to present their result findings and newly acquired skills. They will be able to create simple carton animation to empower thier project presentations.As for primary 6 student, they will be learning the correct handling of digital video cameras, conceptualise, script write, film and edit video footages. Softwares: Robotlab, Macromedia Flash, Micromedia FrontPage, Dreamweaver, Inspiration, Ulead MediaStudio Pro, imovie Secondary School Lower Secondary school students will learn about working mechanism of Lego Mindstorm findings and experiences via mind-maps. They will be able to create design for sourvenirs during school events. Through these learning, students become more creative and cultivate an interest in digital art design, assist in building up course content and digital teaching materials for teachers.
